The Black Heron Project is a passion project where we create small-batch, experimental beers that focus on and highlight local grain, local hops, and local fruit.
Down & Dirty: Lamonta, Wickiup, and Munich malts, raw wheat, wheat flakes, and rolled oats with peaches.
ABV: 5.7% IBU: 3
Color: Dark orange
Aroma: Peach and nectarine with some berry, barnyard aromas, florals, and sweet aromatics
Flavor: Moderate sourness alongside light sweetness and slight bitter with a light/medium body and moderate effervescence
