The Black Heron Project is a passion project where we create small-batch, experimental beers that focus on and highlight local grain, local hops, and local fruit.
Down & Dirty: Lyon Pils, Triticale Pils, and Chateau Cara Blonde malts, Sonora Malted Wheat, Candi Syrup, and Dextrose with Chinook, Saaz, and German Callista hops.
ABV: 7.4% IBU: 30
Color: Moderate red
Aroma: Raspberry and other berry complexity, with some cherry, citrus and other fruity notes
Flavor: Subtly sweet with gentle sourness and bitterness and lightly lingering sweetness in a light, mouthwatering body
