The berries are grown by ourselves, fully organic, and are added to the beer whole. As usual, the lambic is at least one year old. Together they ferment again for about four months on oaken barrels to create a beer with 125 grams of fruit per liter of beer. Another fermentation on the bottle yields a refreshing, sweet and sour finish filled with delicious blackcurrant aroma.

750mL bottle at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky ruddy orange with a light orange head. Tons of musty funk and musty berries. Flavour has tannics berries, old wood, some musty upholstery. Very nice.

750mL bottle at International Geuze & Kriek Festival 2025, pours a cloudy dark pink amber with a small white head. Aroma has gentle, jammy black currant, and a hint of earthy funk. Flavour has a nice jammy black currant character, moderate funk, some pith, and some earthiness. Really good currant and funk combo. Excellent.

Amber colour with light haze and thin head. Really tart with citric notes and blackcurrant. Also a subtle sweetness in the background.

Last minute tasting at CBJ. Thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. An obvious acetic burn. Soft if somewhat vinegar blueberry. Light acetic finish. Okay.

Bottle split at the last minute CBJ Tasting (big thanks Marcin for hosting), I picked this up from my highest rated bar in Bologna a few months back, 13/07/23. Light reddish amber with an off white cap that thins. Nose is tangy berry fruits, blackberries, funk, berry pips, modest acidic nostril twinge, hay bale. Taste comprises blackberry yoghurt, damp wood, straw, farmyard tones, oak, tannins, funk, berry pips. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic bite. Tidy lambic.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Cloin. Pours unclear red-gold with a creamy topping. Lightly sweet with mellow acidity, some berries, decent tartness, but of salty sweat. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Alright balance to finish, more tart berries, salt, some citric acidity. Sound.
