Russian imperial stout invecchiata 18 mesi in botte di quercia ex whisky. La maturazione all’interno delle botti, dona un carattere rustico alle note tostate, di cioccolato e caramello. Il sorso è morbido, pieno e caldo, accompagnato dal profumo e dal retrogusto tipico del whisky non torbato.

Russet-orange head, slowly building up but rather stable over black beer. Lots of roast, roasted nuts or meat, chocolate, bit mineral, hints of coffee. Some mineral, iron and coffee as flavours. Mineral is almost salty. Aftertaste has even more coffee, Haagse Hopjes . Very well bodied, chewy, alcohol warming, good carbonation. Quite decent R.I.S. Txs to Stef!
