Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, a bit hazy, stable white head; moderate strawy "harvest-like" nose, a fruity and a hoppy touch included; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, pretty light bodied; slightly lingering drier bitter-grainy finish. Nice thirst-quencher....

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BB 10/2011. Poured unclear almost orange color with a frothy white head, lasting thin head and lacing. Aroma is earth, some sourness and malt. Flavor is malt, earth, apples and some wood in finish. Finish is quite dry. Thin, but very tasty and fresh. One of the better in this style that I have tried so far.

(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, golden colour with a dense and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty and sweaty (cara-)malty aroma with a shy hoppy touch. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth and quite well matured mouthfeel. Minimally strawy malty taste with shy traces of butter fudge and delicately herbal hops; sweet and slightly bitter malt-accented finish with a light-weighted hoppy touch. Not a real Zoigl but still a drinkable beer. 03.V.11

0.5L bottle, small stable head, orange colour with gold taints, very strong carbonation at first. When opening the swing top a strongmalty aroma springs out but is quickly subdued and aromas of honeycomb and teast dominate. Light biscuity sweetness and mild bitterness combining to a smooth mouthfeel, light sweet and sour aftertaste.
