Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Coconut
A diabolical dose of toasted coconut accentuates the naturally-occurring wellspring of American oak flavors found in Deth’s Tar Barrel-aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Roasty dark chocolate, graham, and vanilla notes round out this off-sweet sipper.

Revolution at it again, so nice sweet sticky booziness. Between these cans and MT cans, life is good!

Can thanks to Mike. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong coconut, booze, wood. Slick body, coconut, dark chocolate, bourbon, wood, very sweet, enjoyed this.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2022. Pours black with a dark brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of chocolate and coconut with roast and barrel backing. Flavor has a good amount of coconut and roast with growing sweet dark grains, barrel and chocolate.

Deep brown porterish color with thin brown foam, slight lacing. Nice warm smell of bourbon and cocoa roast malt, plus an edge of coconut. Heady thick stout mouthfeel that's familiar to Revolution's Imperial stout drinkers. Warm notes of vanilla and coconut before the Dutch chocolate that lingers on the palate.
