A diabolical dose of toasted coconut accentuates the naturally-occuring wellspring of American oak flavors found in Deth’s Tar Barrel-aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout. Roasty dark chocolate, graham, and vanilla notes round out this off-sweet sipper.

Can shared with the familia. The aroma is rich and unctuous, decadent, oily, dark roasted malt, vanilla fudge, big toasted coconut, cocoa, dark chocolate bounty bar, heady notes of bourbon, bourbon soaked oak, dried fruits, raisin, sultana and freshly baked Eccles cake. The taste is initially dry, slick, thick bitter - sweet, dark roasted malt, toffee, fudge, bourbon soaked oak, tannin, toasted nut, warming booze, dark chocolate, rocky road, lots of coconut, tunnocks snowball, coconut log, umami and a touch of liquorice with a slick, warming bourbon finish. Fulsome body, soft to average carbonation and oily mouth feel. Coconut isn't as intense as nose suggests. Nice depth and barrel aging character.

A bit of unstable tan head, light coconut on the nose. Fairly thin body, boozy, somewhat sweet. Dried coconut flakes, light roast coffee, some dark chocolate, heavy bourbon and oak in the finish. A bit hot but rich and in decent balance, very nice.
