Bottle from Daily Delis Amsterdam. Hazy dark brown, small, foamy, tan head. Intense aroma of candied fig & cherry, liquorice, molasses, dark honey, pralines, nougat, vermouth, tea leaves, vague aniseed, sweet whisky. Taste has very sweet dried fig, date & pear in a thick dark-honeyish, molasses-like malt body with herbal notes of black tea and liquorice, somewhat sourish too. Herbal hops in the finish, lingering dried dark fruits, molasses and warming sweet whisky alcohol. Full body, thin oily texture, average carbonation. Intense and quite delicious.

Dark brown and murky with thin soapy head and no carbonation. Aroma and flavour have floral honey and herbal notes too. Oily mouthfeel.

Bottle (from Alko web). Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is floral, tart fruity and dried fruity and plum tones with mild rye and some slight tones. Flavour is chocolate syrupy, some mild whisky tones with mild liquorice, dried fruity and some plum tones with mild toasted tones. Alcohol burns quite evidently.

A reddish copper brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, woody notes, pleasant. Bottle at Mondial 2024.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Large, bubbly fawn-coloured head over a deep dark ruby coloured body, dotted spots on the glass.. Quite inviting on the nose with dried fruits and caramel. Honeyed sweet taste added by dried fruit and wood, lightly spiced. Long lived, caramel-fruity end. Good drinking, but rather sticky sweet in the long run. (Tromsø, 14.04.2024).

Ultramørkebrun/svart. Tynn skumring. Aroma av whisky & frukt. Smaken fruktig. Røde bær. Tørr avslutning. Alkoholen forbausende godt kamuflert.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep amber with a red chink. Thin beige head. Nose - dried fruit, brown sugar and light herbaceous side to it. Taste - really interesting dried fruit notes - jam, figs, raisins and more - with a warming spice coming from the herbs. Palate - full bodied, very long and rich. Overall - lovely stuff.
