330ml bottle at Taste of Love, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a mostly clear dark brown colour with little life. The aroma is light roasty, herbal. The flavour is over moderate sweet, earthy, herbal, with a light jammy red berry fruit, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

A colablack beer, a head is small and beige. Aroma has dried and sweet fruits, prune, fig, apricot, light raisin, interesting and complex spicyness with sweet and aromatic herbal nuancees. Taste has mix of dried fruits and herbs, prune, propably also herbs from vermouth, small hint of Scotch. Only medium bodied. Very interesting and succesfully beer.

0,33 L bottle. Pours black, with a small, beige ring. The nose is caraway, anise, heavy oak, butter toffee, light red wine tannins, pipe tobacco, and cacao. Sweet and malty, with a mild, balancing bitterness. Heavy body, grainy, and a little boozy. Very complex and unique, and quite tasty. Speaks to my love of boozy cocktails.

Very herbal, vermouth or vermut barrels? Heavy and boozy. Digestif. Yo soy gruit

This is an imperial gruit, aged in vermouth and scotch barrels. It pours medium brown, and has an aroma that does have some whisky to it. It's fairly thick, being 13%, but the herbal character is light, especially as a vermouth-aged gruit. The whisky character is more pronounced, but more in a bourbony way. I imagine the scotch barrels were once bourbon barrels but I wouldn't expect that character to actually come through. As it warms, more of the herbals come through. The beer overall is slick, but warming, as odd as one would expect. I'm not sold on it, but it's interesting enough.
