Bottle from Grima, thanks! Toffee and red fruit in the aroma. Malty vinous flavor with red fruit and toffee. Some tart notes. Sticky mouthfeel.

Old 33cl bottle courtesy of Erzengel! A clear deep orange golden beer with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of strong malt, toasted malt, riped fruits, wood. Taste of sweet and strong malt, bread, vanilla, some wood, oxidized fruits, not bad!

Rating from Dezember 2009: Leuchtend rötliche Bernsteinfarbe, frisch-süßlicher Geruch. Der Antrunk ist fruchtig-frisch, malzig mit angenehm-interessanter Herbe, leicht nussig. Dabei mild. Angenehm malzig-klar, tiefgehend. Der Nachgeschmack ist angenehm malzig-süßlich mit dieser angenehm mild-weichen und leicht nussigen Hopfennote. Sehr interessant

Golden color. Hints of malt and citrus in the aroma. Malty sweetish, grassy citric flavor, with peach. Hint of perfume in the finish.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, caramel, fruits and hops.

Bottle. Creamy white off-white good mostly ælasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. No heller bock notes. Short light bitter metallic finish. Watery palate.

Bottle looks very interesting. Beer in the glass brownish-copper coloured, small head. Starts strong, fine spicy, a bit moldy-sourish. Also a bit alcoholic, but not disturbing. Finish still spicy with a hint of caramell. Good beer!

Laut eigenen Angaben schmeckt das Bier am besten nach 6 Monaten. Komisch, woher weiß die Brauerei das, wenn es doch nur einen Sud gab? Wie auch immer, zufällig ist das Bier, was ich im Glas habe, 6 Monate und eine Woche alt. Das Bier startet hopfenbetont, insgesamt aber recht mild, wodurch der Hopfen deutlicher im Vordergrund steht. Zumindest hintergründig wirkt er trocken, Grasig, etwas nach Zitrus. Die vorhandene Süße ist gerade noch im Rahmen, könnte meiner Meinung nach aber auch gerne ein Stück schwächer sein. Lange setzt keine Bitterkeit ein, erst im Nachgeschmack ist diese dann offensichtlich, ist aber auch auf Dauer schwächer als erwartet. Im Gegenzug ist der Hopfen in Verbindung mit passend starker Hefigkeit noch länger vorhanden. Erst spät setzt eine kräftige dunkle Bitterkeit gepaart mit nussigen Nuancen ein. Gelungenes Experiment.

Bottle: Copper coloured, lots of floaties visible, off-white head, slowly collapsing; dried fruits and sweet caramel in the nose, the expected "Pride of Ringwood" remains only in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, a bit tart; lingering caramelly and tart-hoppy finish. Aromatic, yes, but absolutely not well rounded.......

Bottled (Bierzwerg, BB 12/2011)
Funny green bottle. Hazy amber color, mostly vanishing off-white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet pie and raisins mixed with grainy notes. Flavor has caramel malts, alcohol, grainy notes, grassy hoppyness and some banana and/or raisins. Homebrew feeling in this beer. Lingering caramel and alcohol in the aftertaste. Not sure if I like this beer or not :)
