Gyldenbrun. Klar. Middels høyt skum med litt farge. Daler sakte. Spotlacing. Karamellaroma. Smaken nøtter & tørket frukt. Veldig bitter tørr alkoholisk avslutning.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. A bubbly, fawn-coloured head leaving clingy lacing behind, close-to-clear orange coloured body. Dried fruity aromas, mid-sweet and mid-dry, promising. Mixed taste of raisin, prunes, and caramel malts, lightly oaky. Warming, long tail, not overly sweet. Full bodied. Decent slow sipper qualities on a Yuletide eve. (Tromsø 30.12.2022).

Bottle. An almost clear one, deep golden in color, with a small, dense, beige head. Quite heavy aroma, with caramel, dried fruits, some chocolate and generic fruityness, alcohol and piney hops. It’s full-bodied, warming and boozy, with a soft carbonation and quite a lot of bitterness. Toffee, caramel, dried fruits and alcohol in the flavor, with quite a lot of piney hops. Bitter, warming and sweet finish. A bit on the bitter side this one, but sure nice. 221126

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Sauda. Also bought from Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.5%. Deep amber to reddish brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts and molasses, hints of oak and caramel. Rich and warming mouthfeel. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, also pleasant notes of dark dried fruits, and unexpectedly distinct bittering hops.
