Suviolut on kullankeltainen, koivu- ja jalohumala-arominen, maltaisen pehmeä, suodattamaton täysmallaspohjahiivaolut.
Saksalaisilla jalohumalilla pyörrehumaloitu ja koivunlehdillä maustettu olut sopii erinomaisesti ruoka- ja saunaolueksi.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & heavy (thanks!) Golden coloured, small white head that went away fast, sweet and light sourish grainy caramel nose (?). Sweetish sour malty and light perfumed something (wtf). I don’t know what to say more. Didn’t like it at all.

Brought from Finland, shared with heavy and ogivlado. So for their summer/SO anniversary special they made a beer aged on birch leaves. Oh great, another birch beer we’ve had that day, first one using wood the other using leaves. Anyway, golden body. Oooh. Empty aroma (what the!?), slightly... eh, "jewfry" isn’t a word (and you have a dirty mind), and I wouldn’t repeat "empty" (would I?), so imagine that you didn’t read anything after "what the!?" till here (does that cancel out what I said just now? nevermind). Slightly malty too. Yay. And now the taste. Ehm, the first and the biggest note (bear in mind that I wasn’t drunk/inebriated/high) in my notebook is "pička materina". Google it. Or don’t. Let’s just say I didn’t like it (and remembering it even now, I still don’t). Sweet malty taste, with distinct notes of something between mayo and remoulade. I hate mayo and can stomach remoulade (when in Denmark...), so no, I didn’t like this. Everything said and done, this was technically a summer seasonal, but it’s inside the BB date. Quite possibly that I just didn’t like it. At all. But, it’s cool that they experimented and all!

Rerating 31.8.2012. Smell of hops and grass, some malt. Light golden colour, beige head. Metallic aroma, some grass and leaves as well. Faints of malts and hops, metallic aftertaste. Watery and mildly bitter. Flat carbon.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Clear, light yellow pour with a fine, white head. Slight tart nose? Weird. Mild malt flavor. Light bodied with average carbonation. Weird finish, too, slight metal and mild, grainy malts. Not great.

50 cl bottle, BBE 12/2011
Mild aroma has some grain and is typical to a pale lager. Flavor has some stale birch that does not fit the palette very well. Also some ash and a hint of butter. Not very nice brew but not a total fail either.
