Bottle from Tbone. Blonde. Slightly herbal aroma with lemongrass. Soft bitter flavor with grassy and citric notes. Thin to medium bodied. fresh and drinkable.

Draft at the fake brewery in the Helsinki airport: pours clear copper, aroma is a hint of birch and some grain. Taste is a dirty, birchy thing. It is a tad malty. Some sweetness. Perfectly drinkable.

Tap @ Nordic Kitchen, Vantaa Airport. Pours golden, quite clear and some white foam on the top. Nose has some resiny birch character, probably they used some similar techniques deployed by Tanker with their Sauna Session. Taste has also some birch leaves and twigs bitterness, herbal and yes, kind of feels like sauna here as well. Besides that birch character nothing much going on - but overall, this is not too bad either.

Kirkas kullankeltainen olut kohtalaisella, pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu aika mieto ja "tavanomainen", maltainen sekä hieman tunkkainen ja jopa kaalinen, mikä tekee tuoksusta varsin epämiellyttävän. Myös maku maltainen sekä aika mieto. Koivua en oikein onnistu erottamaan. Keveähkö suutuntuma ja sopivasti hiilihappoinen. Kesäinen terassijuoma, kevyt muttei vetinen.

500ml bottle shared with djoeye. Off-white bubbly head. Clear, late straw coloured body. Restrained smell of chocolate and leafy hops. Malt-fruity taste, including chocolate, grassy hops, and a touch of birchwood. Dry ending. Smooth in the mouth. Satisfying (session in Tromsø 05.12.2014).

Draught at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Clear golden, small creamy head. The birch mostly comes across as vegetable soup. Bland and and fruity with rounded mouthfeel. Compost and iron takes over the finish. Had to double check that it wasn’t mislabelled Lapin Kulta...

20/11 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured orange body with smaller head. Weaker malty aroma revealing it’s sweet character. Sweet fruity, sugary, vanilla flavor, balanced with some slightly bitter herbal notes, I assume it’s birch. Medium bodied with long and quite fine bitterish finish. Pretty strange and nothing special for sure, but it wasn’t so bad to me.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & heavy (thanks!) Golden coloured, small white head that went away fast, sweet and light sourish grainy caramel nose (?). Sweetish sour malty and light perfumed something (wtf). I don’t know what to say more. Didn’t like it at all.
