Entstanden in den kreativen Köpfen von Drinks of the World und Simmentaler Bier. Zusammen hauchen wir einem langsam verschwindenden Bierstil wieder neues Leben ein: dem Brown Ale. Die Farbe schimmert in der Sonne tiefrot bis nussbraun. Im Gaumen entfalten sich die malzigen Noten, die von Biscuit bis hin zu geröstetem Brot reichen. Der englische Hopfen untermalt den reichhaltigen Körper mit erdigen und würzigen Noten.

Appearance: Dark brown, clear. Small, light tan head. Aroma: Malt, some dark fruits. Dark chocolate, some brown sugar. Taste: Medium malt, toasted. Nutty, some light coffee and brown sugar sweetness. Bought: Drinks of the World (Bern), 330 ml, CHF 5.60 Info: 28/1-2023, BB: 5/6-2023

Small cream-coloured head over fully opaque brown beer. Caramel, toffee, whiff of smoke, liquorice, nuts, chocolate. Smoke even more prominent in the mouth, elderberry syrup, caramel, ashes. Bit of yellow apples. Getting woody, bit of chocolate in the aftertaste. Feels better bodied than it probably is; good carbonation. Original profile for a brown ale: the smoke, no excess sweetness. Still far from worldshaking. Txs to Joren for bringing!

clear mahogany colour, medium sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of roasted malts and sunflower seeds, toasted rye bread crust, some cappuccino, caramel and minimal soy sauce notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; surprisingly good

Bottle. This is nice. Coffe ish feel. Roasted malts. Some solid malty base. Smooth on tongue. I like it
