Bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Grass, malt and pear in the aroma. Medium bodied. Bready grassy hopbitter flavor. Apple. Not my favorite helles.

Frischer, leicht herber Antrunk. Helle Würzigkeit, trocken bitter. Dabei steigert sich die Bitterkeit zum Ende, kaum hopfig. Nett. 11/9/9/9/10/9

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Klare dunkel goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr getreidig malzig, kaum hopfig, gering würzig. Geschmack sehr getreidig, leicht süß malzig, kaum hopfig, süffig aber nichts besonderes!

Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Pours a deep golden color. Malty aroma with notes of soil and caramel. Sweetish herbal and earth flavour.

Bottle from Getränke-Quelle in Merseburg. Smooth malty beginning. Fresh, smooth with grainy hints. Not too deep, quite grainy-malty with a quite dry body. The aftertaste is grainy-malty with slightly sweetish hints. Slightly mouldy bitter with yeasty smoothness.

bottle with thanks to kappldav123. Hazy deep golden colour with an orange glow, mid-sized white head. Malty base with some resiny hops - a rural overall character.

Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, modest malty, spicy, some light metallically notes. Finish well balanced. Malty aftertaste. Okay.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Landsberger Merseburger Kellerbräu ].Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted - caramel, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, keller, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111126]

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, dense, off-white head. Fruity and quite malty on the nose, with caramel. Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Some toffeeish notes in the flavor, with pale malts, a nice fruity hoppyness and a fine bitterness. A quite nice one, tasteful and quenching. 111126
