Stallhagen Delikat has a rightful place on every Åland food-lover's table. Delikat is a slightly darker medium-bodied lager. An excellent beer to accompany food, with its strong maltiness and oaky character. Delikat is balanced, smooth and harmonious. Its head is lacy-thin and chalk-white. The hop bitterness is pleasantly rounded and develops a fine body. The aroma is fresh and mineral.

The aftertaste is sustained, with clear hop bitterness transitioning into sweetness, with slightly burnt tones at the finish.

Delicious with traditional Nordic food and fish bouffet, or for more spicy dishes.

Not very dark - rather pale amber with an olive shine; small whipped cream head. Malty nose, felt, dark green leaves, slightly bready in its sweet component. Clear malty taste, with a very dry-bitterish flavour; a bit earthy-woody, but very, very watered-down. Mineral water quality, very light body. Again, not bad, but certainly not worth a good German Dunkel. Thumbs up to Pat!

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, earth, dust. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. (Malt bitter). Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

From a trade with oh6gdx, thanks Patrik.
Bottled(330ml). -Bronze coloured, small (almost no) head, weak toffee nose. Watery with weak malty and mild hoppy aroma. Tastes like better N.A. beer.

Bottle received in a trade with oh6gdx, shared with ozujskoPoured a very light brown colour with almost no head (what little there is is white). The nose is pretty much dry dog food mixed with toffee. The taste is damn watery, with some sweetness and weak bittering hops. Ok, drinkable, but needs more body. In my opinion, very, very overrated.

First rating33 cl bottle thanks to oh6gdx Thin sweet scent. Amber to brown color, white lasting head. Bitter taste. Sharp bitterness, most likely from hot water hitting the grains during brewing. Not what I expected from something called a dark lager.4/3/4/3/8=2.2RerateBottle, 33 cl, gift from my mother. On July 26, 2010As Stallhagen DelikatNice clear copper to brown color, medium off-white head. Sweet, malty, caramel scent, also fruity and some alcohol. Fruity, malty, dry, herbal taste. Dry herbal aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, moussy though. Herbal and a slight bit metallic.7/4/7/3/13=3.4

(Bottle 33 cl) Hazy, dark amber with an almost non-existing head. Very Roasted, malty aroma. The body is fairly full, sweetish with roasted malt and notes of overripe fruit - probably due to it being a bit (two months) over the top. But still a lovely, malty brew and a positive surprise. And I really believe that the Ålands should be considered a nation of it’s own here on RateBeer. 230106

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with OK notes of citrus as well as hints of caramel.

Bottled at RBESG. Amber colour, clear, near no head. Dry with papery malt character and clean mouthfeel. Fairly hoppy with bitterish, lightly soapy finish.

Tapped. Copper coloured, small white head. Aroma of fruit and berries (blueberry among others) with hints of malt and barley. Smooth "foresty" flavour, very fresh. Not much aftertaste.

Bottled (maybe bottled by Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas?)
Copper color, small off-white head. Sweetish barley aroma, slightly metallic. Hints of toffee. Light to medium-bodied.As sayravai said, this has similarities to SA Boston Ale. Same kind of malt and hop character. Also märzen kind of barley (rye) notes. Toffee in flavor, nice malty and hoppy aftertaste, it just could be more intensive.
