Stallhagen Delikat has a rightful place on every Åland food-lover's table. Delikat is a slightly darker medium-bodied lager. An excellent beer to accompany food, with its strong maltiness and oaky character. Delikat is balanced, smooth and harmonious. Its head is lacy-thin and chalk-white. The hop bitterness is pleasantly rounded and develops a fine body. The aroma is fresh and mineral.
The aftertaste is sustained, with clear hop bitterness transitioning into sweetness, with slightly burnt tones at the finish.
Delicious with traditional Nordic food and fish bouffet, or for more spicy dishes.

330ml bottle as Stallhagen Delikat, thanks to Finn. Hand made slow beer, according to the label. Pours a golden-brown body topped by a lighter shade of off-white hue. Fragile, spotty lacing. Faint grainy malts to the nose, semi-sweet. Lighter dark malts in flavour. Falls on the sweet side in spite of a touch of herbal hops. Soft carbonated. Watered on the swallow.

Syrlig bitterhet i ettersmaken. KI=6

Bottle 33 cl. Amber, clear with a medium white head, not too much sparkling. Aroma; light sweet malty with some sence of caramel. Flavor; sweet but also some roasted sence.

33cl, bottled as Stallhagen Delikat. Pours amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, hard to detect. Flavour is caramel malty, not as malty and roasty as most of the dunkels I have tried. Quite long sweet finish. Enjoyable nonetheless but does not stand out in any way.

Bottle. Clear copper amber. Sweet malty and fruity aroma with tones of caramel, grass and bread. Sweet malty flavor with notes of fruits and a light bitter hop finish. Also some bread. Quite light body.

Bottle. Pours a clear, golden body under a medium, diminishing, off-white head. Leaves nice lacings though. The aroma has a weak malty sweetness, and unfortunately a burnt plastic impression. Very thin in the mouth, without so many pleasant flavors. Fruityness, a wee hint of sourness, a little maltyness and a quite pleasant bitterness towards the finish. (080102)
