Stallhagen Delikat has a rightful place on every Åland food-lover's table. Delikat is a slightly darker medium-bodied lager. An excellent beer to accompany food, with its strong maltiness and oaky character. Delikat is balanced, smooth and harmonious. Its head is lacy-thin and chalk-white. The hop bitterness is pleasantly rounded and develops a fine body. The aroma is fresh and mineral.

The aftertaste is sustained, with clear hop bitterness transitioning into sweetness, with slightly burnt tones at the finish.

Delicious with traditional Nordic food and fish bouffet, or for more spicy dishes.

Bottle shared by MisoW, many thanks. Bottle as Stallhagen Delicat. Very light brown color with small white head. Almost no aroma with notes of caramel. Taste, caramel, roasted malt, sugar. Blah.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 05.02.2010
Aroma is somewhat malty with grain, roasted notes and toffee. Flavour is slightly sweet with toffee, bready malt, some roasted notes and caramel. Decent.

33 cL as Stallhagen Delikat. Pours clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and cornish. Bitter, grassy and light cornish. Dry and light herbal into the finish.

Bottle @ Fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, caramel, nuts and hops.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear light amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, light caramel and light hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. 310312

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel and a little chocolate. Flavour is malt, caramel, little chocolate, little toffee, medium sweet, hops and a little bitter.
