Stallhagen Delikat has a rightful place on every Åland food-lover's table. Delikat is a slightly darker medium-bodied lager. An excellent beer to accompany food, with its strong maltiness and oaky character. Delikat is balanced, smooth and harmonious. Its head is lacy-thin and chalk-white. The hop bitterness is pleasantly rounded and develops a fine body. The aroma is fresh and mineral.

The aftertaste is sustained, with clear hop bitterness transitioning into sweetness, with slightly burnt tones at the finish.

Delicious with traditional Nordic food and fish bouffet, or for more spicy dishes.

17/3/2020. Bottle courtesy of Nisse666, cheers Thomas. As Stallhagen Delikat. Pours clear amber bronze with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, chocolate, molasses and dried fruits. Medium to heavy sweetness and light toasty bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Bit veggie to finish, touch of coffee. Not keen.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Aromatic hop character, huh? I only smell toffee. caramelly sweet flavor with hints of licorice. malty. Chichory. Sticky mouthfeel. Long caramelly aftertaste. Acceptable.

Almost clear, mahogany colour, small head. Metallic and malt aroma. Malty and nutty taste. Medium to low body and bitterness.

Bottle 0.33l from local market, Espoo (as Stallhagen Delikat). Originally rated 2011. Colour is dark brown with small head. Aromas and flavours: Grain and malts.

Bottle. Clear brownish amber colour. Aroma noble hops, light caramel malt. Not doubly tempting. Taste is light hoppy, some caramel and light light roasted malts. Overally sterile and industrial feel with poor drinkability.
