We partnered with some local homies on this year’s variant of Flying Buffalo Coffee. The Becharas bros hail from Detroit where their family has roasted coffee for more than a century. This year they’ve selected a strictly high grown bean from Finca El Camalote, in the Santa Rosa region of Honduras. With a full city roast and a coarse grind, this gives it a very mild taste profile with low acidity and chocolatey undertones. Cold steeped and blended with our 9 month aged bourbon barrel Imperial Stout. Harmony in a can.

Can shared at tasting, hik! Almost opaque black color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, coffee, appears to have bourbon as well and vanilla as well as maple notes. Quite pleasant, heavy but good but you've got to be able to stand the booze.
