In september we picked Marechal Foch grapes from the vineyard De Pasa de Corinto in Glimmen. It spontaneously fermented to a beautiful natural wine, and macerated with skin for a month. We fermented apple juice from the farm orchard at Zuiderham, Aduard, and blended it with the wine, so it is a hybrid of wine, cider and lambic.

Interesting brew this. Indeed halfway between cider and natural wine, with some spontaneous funk. Dry, fruity, apple is light but does balance the wine flavour nicely. Light and subtle, maybe a tad too subtle for autumn.

Gusher, Aroma is fris, komt erg fruitig binnen, fruitzuurtje zeker merkbaar, appeltjes en rood fruit zijn ok, maar dan direct is de smaak weg, vervlakt te snel...
