Bottle. Clear, deep brown body under a moderate sized, dense beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, some dry fruit and mild roast. Taste is super smooth, dark, mild roasted malt, some caramel, chocolate, dry fruit and moderate bitterness. Fine balanced body with a long lasting, smooth malt driven aftertaste. Very pleasant.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a bubbly, off-white head with fine duration, ruby-black in the glass, fair lacing. Roasted caramel-chocolate aromas. inviting. The taste chracter follows suit with caramel and chocolate joined by a biscuit twist. Lightly roasted finish, bittersweet. Medium bodied. Nice. (Tromsø 16.12.2022).

330 ml bottle, as Ægir Nissebokk Julebrygg, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7%. Dark redddish brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, brown bread, mild spices. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements.

Kumlefjorden Juleølsmaking 2022. Chestnut color with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, spices, caramel, bread. Flavor is spices, roasted malt, caramel, fruit, bread, dried fruit. Nice beer.

Bottle. It pours a clear chestnut color under a small light beige head. Roasted malts, caramel, some fruityness and a touch of bread and dark dried fruits. It’s full-bodied and semi-sweet on the palate, softly carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Roasted malts, bread, caramel and some fruityness in the flavor, with a very light bitterness. Long finish. A pleasant bock indeed. 221126
