A roasty treat, throwing it back to a simpler time of malt forward beers. A mix of dark malts and roasted barley make up this complex mud pie. Hopped only with UK Harlequin for bitterness and spice.

Nice stuff! Easy drinking, malty, ovaltine stuff, roasty. But with a nice weird hoppiness too. Also feels a touch Belgian. Light funk maybe.

Can from Brew Cavern. Day 18 of my advent calendar. Black colour with a pale tan head. Aroma and taste are roasted malty and burnt coffee. Rich full body.
