Copper coloured. Vapour of sweet malt and alcohol. The taste of liquor is distinctive in both flavour and finish. Sweet and alcoholic. I imagine this is the beer some of the characters in Arto Paasilinna’s books drink. (330ml bottle from Alko in Hätta, Finland. Shared 29.apr.09 at beer session in Tromsø)

From an Alko outlet in Hætta, Finland. Provided by Elisabeth for a drinking session in Tromsø. Good looking with a clear, copper-brown content. Soapy off-head, slowly diminishing. The moments of sweet maltiness in aroma and flavour are mostly overrun by alcohol. Sticky mouthfeel. Simple (29.04.2009).

330ml Bottle - Amber/dark gold in colour with a small head. No discernible aroma of any note although some sweet malty notes can be detected. Sweetish malty taste accompanied by some metallic, gassy elements and strangely enough, a hint of chlorine. The finish is malty and bittersweet. From my notes, the beer seems awful but it is not that bad really! Drinkable but not my cup of tea.

Bottle 0,33l. Dark golden brown colored. A creamy lasting head. Sourish aroma. Strong flavor dominated by roasted malt. A bit too carbonated. Aftertaste of sweet paper. Some dry bitterness in the finish. Alcohol shining through. KI=7

Biggish offwhite head over chestnut brown body. Faint, sweetish aroma with notes alcohol, caramel, and a little grass. Taste is sweet roasty caramel with notes of grass and marzipan. Slick, slightly buttery mouthfeel. Watery aftertaste with some bitterness, lingering alcohol taste and some alcohol heat. Quite good if warm, but a bit much alcohol. (0.33l bottle.)

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with some metallic notes from the alcohol, and so is the flavor too, with slight notes of peach.

(Can 56,8 cl) Beautiful amber colour with a creamy, off-white head. Aroma of hops and alcohol. Very potent body with lots of alcohol and a rather sharp, hoppy finish. Looks great but has a flavour of your typical Nordic Malt Liquor. 221005

Bottled. Copper coloured, small bubbly brown head. Sweet alcohol, malt and weak caramellish notes in aroma. Strong malty flavour with alcohol growing in finish. Very bitterish overall, and a bit hard carbonation.
