The copper-coloured Karhu Extra Strong is generously malted and flavoured with the best hops. It is a balanced, and, as the name suggests, extra strong beer.

Bottled (BB 09/2004, brewed in Kerava)
Dark-amber color, off-white head. Metallic and alcoholic aroma. Full-bodied malty, slightly sweet but metallic alcoholic taste dominates the flavor. Slightly bitter alcoholic aftertaste. (3/4/6/2/10 2.5)
Canned, a pint (BB 04/2005, brewed in Kerava)
Amber color, quickly vanishing white head. Lots of CO2. Malty, metallic, hensfood aroma. Sweet metallic flavor, palate is ruined with alcohol. (2/3/4/2/8 1.9)
