Keg at Innis & Gunn, Edinburgh. Amber with a moderate white head. Apricot, caramel aroma, flavour is similar with some spice and a syrupy mouthfeel

Can at home, 28th January 23. Pours a light reddish brown. Aroma is caramel, light hops, some resin. Taste is resin, light caramel, sweet, not as sticky or intense as I hoped. Alright

Keg at Beer & Burger, Willesden Green, London. A murky ruby/brown coloured pour with a decent off white head on top. Jammy, malty, caramel, rye taste/aroma. An interesting slightly sweet red IPA from Baron.

Nice and malty. Little bit of jam but the malt is up front. Touch of spice. Nice!

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Deep golden body with an off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts and dried leaves. Flavour of caramel and fig. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. It’s a decent beer but the colour’s not as red and the flavour’s not as sweet/hoppy as the finest Red IPAs I’ve tried.

Keg at Kerrera, Guildford. Aroma had berries [Editor: now confirmed to be cherry] and marmalade spice. Red tinged brown. Foamy off-white head. Rich and spicy. Berries [cherries] and citrus. Rye. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable warming Red IPA.
