As good as no head. Dark brown to black beer. Sweet chocolate, vanilla. Faintly peppery, if smelling sweet. Taste is definitely drier, even not really sweet. Again peppery. Short hint at stoutacidity. Again chocolate, more towards black chocolate. Quite well-bodied, mild carbonation, alcoholheat. Not too sweet, but not really remarkable. Quite OK. (Found @ Getränkefeinkost Leipzig)

Thanks fonefan! Pitch black colour with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some resin, salted liquorice, dried fruits and some mild fudgelike sweetness lurking in the background. Flavour is liquorice, vanilla, some fudge, mild sweet apples with some caramel, chocolate and a bit liquorice root.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Black, small head. Aroma of licorice and salmiak. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and salmiak, some coffee. Piney bitter finish.
