At only 3.5%, Iron Age has an outstanding depth to it. Ruby red in colour, it is packed with aromatic fruity hop characteristics (the initial hop bitterness is balanced with a smooth malty caramel body and a complexion of rich fruity aromas with hints of berry fruit). Available in a 330ml bottle or a larger 500ml to share, Iron Age is great partner to hearty food dishes. Anyone for seconds?

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, resin hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody resin, light spice pepper hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonaton.

0,5L bottle. Pours clear copper with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malt, caramel, and some hops. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, citrus, caramel, and some black bread notes. Finish is dry pine bitter. Body is rather thin. Overall: not bad for the low ABV brew.

Smak och doft av humle, malt, örter, citrus, karamell med toner av smörkola. Väldigt fruktig, kärv beska med pepparkänsla. En bra bitter.

500ml bottle, many thanks to Finn. Firm, tight off-white head that laced well and had a solid stand. Deep, dark amber coloured body. Inviting malt-fruity aromas with emphasis on citrus hops. Fresh flavours of semi-dry, citrus hops with just enough malty sweetness beneath. Dry bitter ending. Not too thin, well made. Good bitter (Tromsø 07.11.2013).
