At only 3.5%, Iron Age has an outstanding depth to it. Ruby red in colour, it is packed with aromatic fruity hop characteristics (the initial hop bitterness is balanced with a smooth malty caramel body and a complexion of rich fruity aromas with hints of berry fruit). Available in a 330ml bottle or a larger 500ml to share, Iron Age is great partner to hearty food dishes. Anyone for seconds?

500 bl bottle thanks to deft! BB 24.09.2013. Sampled on December 15, 2012.Clear dark copper to brown color, tan small head. Sweet, malty, fruity, some phenolic notes scent. Malty, grainy, bread, sweet, sugary taste. Caramel and grainy aftertaste. Medium to smooth, fairly low co2, mouthfeel. Medium bitterness.

Bottle from ICA Maxi Almhult cons 2012-10-20 Göteborg AR: roasted malt, dried brittish fruits AP: oiled oak colored body, wee bubbly small ofwhite head F: soft carbonation, caramel, smooth soft feeling but full bodied, wee citrus, wee wild strawberries, grape fruit, brown bread, tangerine finish is still smooth grape and dried fruits

Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium off-white head that dissipates quite fast. Aroma of elder flowers, candy, perfume, red berries, biscuit and grain. Feels a bit artificial. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of elderberries, biscuit and earth. More bitter than I assumed. Medium bodied with a bit high carbonation. Nice for a 3.5% beer.

Bottle, 3.6%. Fruity aroma, hint of berries. Clear dark copper or light brown colour. Small unstable off-white head. The flavour is subtle, has a bit of caramel and fruit. Good mouthfeel for a bottled bitter.

Bottled at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Clear brownish amber, small head. Bready nose. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel and low hop rate. Light bready malt, low bitterness. Pedestrian bottled bitter.
