At only 3.5%, Iron Age has an outstanding depth to it. Ruby red in colour, it is packed with aromatic fruity hop characteristics (the initial hop bitterness is balanced with a smooth malty caramel body and a complexion of rich fruity aromas with hints of berry fruit). Available in a 330ml bottle or a larger 500ml to share, Iron Age is great partner to hearty food dishes. Anyone for seconds?

Bottle. A more or less clear one, amber in color and with a small, off-white head. Caramel-malty, slightly roasted nose with a touch of fruityness. A bit fizzy on the medium body. Roasted, caramel flavor with some fruityeness and bitterness. Mostly bitter in the finish. Overall, rather boring, but it drinks easy and is dry enough to have quenching qualities. Donβt think Iβll buy more of this one, but I definitely wonβt refuse drinking more of it. 110612

Bottled@CPH BF 2011. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, some quite fruity and floral notes as well as mild earthy and nutty notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some nutty notes as well as mild fruity and floral hops. Slight bitterness in the finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is caramelish and breadish malty. Bitter, caramelish and slight herbal flavoured. Bitter and dark roasted malty flavoured. Bitter and dry finish.
