At only 3.5%, Iron Age has an outstanding depth to it. Ruby red in colour, it is packed with aromatic fruity hop characteristics (the initial hop bitterness is balanced with a smooth malty caramel body and a complexion of rich fruity aromas with hints of berry fruit). Available in a 330ml bottle or a larger 500ml to share, Iron Age is great partner to hearty food dishes. Anyone for seconds?

0,33 l. bottle from the supermarket. Very nice amber colour with a small beige head. The aroma has a lot of malts, and maybe something roasted. The flavour is malty and watery, however itβs not a surprise when you consider the modest 3.4% . Bitter, malty finish, that lasts longer than you would expect from a low alcohol beer. When you take price into consideration, this is a very good beer!

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty malt, light toasted, nutty and toffee notes, light malt extract, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, light malt extract. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110210]

Cask-conditioned at the Bag OβNails, Bristol 11/9/07. Chestnut coloured with a moderate off-white head that left plenty of lacing. Aroma of floral hops and red fruit. Flavour starts with some malt before a mouth puckering dry finish. A decent session beer.
