13/VI/16 - 50cl bottle from the island itself @ home - BB: 20/VII/16 (2016-653) Thanks to Hilaire for sharing the bottle!

Clear amber beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: soft smokiness, banana, caramel, sugary. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, lots of caramel, banana, soft smokiness, little sourish. Aftertaste: caramel, banana, bit sweet, malty. Could do with a good extra dose of smoked malts, for all I care. Too gentle. I want camp fire in my glass! :p

Bottle consumed at Kenny’s 20K. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasted earth, wood, leather, sweet smoke, caramel and earthy roasted malts. The taste is toasty, earthy, smoked maltage, coffee grounds,, earthy roast, fruity tang and cacao nib with dry, smoked finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent smoked beer.

0,5 l bottle bought at a Kvickly supermarket in Nykøbing. Dark copper but clear in the glass. Mid nearly white head. Smokey nose, some sweet hints in the background. Real smokey taste at the start, but a little bit synthetic in some ways. And again an unexpected sweetness. Thin finish. An easy to drink Rauchbier, miss some special character.

500ml bottle with my tasty herring lunch at Under Uret after a visit to the Dürer exhibition at SMK. Pours a near clear brown coloured body. Remaining low beige head. Dotted spots on the glass. Malty nose, carefully smoked. Taste of brown malts added by leafy hops, lightly smoked. Mid-sweet malty ending. Clean in the mouth. Nice partner to the food (Copenhagen 03.05.2015).
