Tap at the brewery. Clear pale yellow golden. Massive smoke, sweet malts and maybe some oats, sugary, light grassy, lemon curd. Solid medium sweet, light bitter. Hmmm, it’s unusual but not really my thing.

This brewery is ten minutes from where I'm staying. Great place! Smoked pale ale, really good but not quite as good as the cherry wood smoked ale I had in NZ.
