Tasting at Ryan's, bottle
Dark amber/brown colour. Aroma of alcohol, spirit, soy sauce, caramel. Full bodied, of course the alcohol takes something away from this; some malt, not the malt depth of a Barley Wine though; lots of mixed spirits, with a light vinous touch.
Good, but elements don't come together, nor there is enough beer depth.

375ml (thx, Chris S.!) @ Ryan's shared with Alex. Appearance: brown with a tan head. Aroma: sweet fruits, caramel, barrels. Taste: very complex, lots of different barrels, definitely lots of sherry and bourbon barrel, some booze. Finishes with very nice American oak and creamy oaky notes. Overall: very nice.

Poured from double wax 375mL bottle. Dark brown with small beige head. Lots of bourbon, touch of sherry, minimal rum, some caramel notes, very nice and complex. Very enjoyable.
Bit of a boozy beast this. Served a tad too cold first, but opens up nicely after a while. Loads of alcohol, warming, but too boozy. Taste is nice: raisins, wood, caramelz and barrel galore. Mostly bourbon, some run, and general oaky sherry.
