Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2013. A hint of lime! Bloody Nora! That’s all I can taste! This takes me back to my mid-20s (before I left the dark side) when my drink of choice was a lager and lime. I’ll give it an extra mark for the old memory spark...that’s the kind of mood I’m in.

UK Shitty Beer Night: 6th Aug 2013. 330ml clear bottle, BBD 22 Aug 2014. Poured into an Augustijn chalice. Looked OK, but it hides a hideous secret within. Golden, and clean, the head a wisp and white collar, could be a normal lager/pilsner, but it isn’t. The nose gives the game away (and the hairs in your nostrils if you’re not careful): I like dark rum, this however has an aroma of weak, cheap white rum watered down with yesterdays uncleaned urinal smell, without the lemon crystal thingy. The taste is equally ’iffy’ with peanut butter, white rum and lager all vieing for attention but failing to blend or marry together. Not a nice beer, but it wasn’t as bad as some brews I had during the evening.

Bottle at home... Golden yellow... Thin white head... Soft spicy lemonade... Shandy... Soft fruits... Big lime juice... Not beer. Not beer

330ml bottle picked up in Maidenhead. Amber with a white head that immediately fell back to nothing; musty aroma; sweet, woody taste, with no trace of rum, or beer for that matter; and then raw alcohol to finish. Probably spot on for the intended market, but not for a beer drinker.

330ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is soapy lemonade. Taste is a bit soapy, a hint of fruity rum.

Bottle thanks to Ansjelaah. Clear golden color, small instantly diminishing white head. Smell and taste sweetness, I guess rum influences and lemonade. Ok carbonation, low body.

Bottle @ benzai thx to ansjelaah. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Smells like sprite, ’smeeuwwitje’ and tastes accordingly. Thin body, sodapop carbo.
