Each year one of our brewers takes off for a week-long “experiment in temporary community”. Their camp centers around a friends childhood rug. We celebrate that tradition with this carefully balanced ale, perfect for any palette. It really does tie the room together.
Pairs great with heartier dishes, jambalaya, steaks, pasta and desserts.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: amber to red color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace.
Aroma: roasted nuts, grassy & earthy hops, some light floral to citrusy hops and backed up by a fairly clean caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas together semi-sweet with a mild toastiness; subtle aftertaste of some grassy to citrusy hops and the malt backbone
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness along the tongue, finishes citrusy hoppy and malty
Overall: good American amber ale worth trying again.
