0.5l bottle from rewe in charlottenburg, 0.79?. pours almost black with a beige-grey head. aroma of tobacco, roast, coffee. flavour of ash, roasted malts. quite straightforward, but quite drinkable and not cloying.

Bottle. Black colour with brown reflexes, light brown head that does not stay long. Aroma is roasted, nuts, coffee. Light bitterness, light sweetness. Not too heavy, not cloying. Very good.

At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2016. Dark brown with a small head. Aroma and taste of grain, light roasted malt, some caramel and hay. The body was on the light side.

Many thanks for this bottle to Erzengel. Pours dark red brown color with a average, frothy, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel.

Bottle. Pours hazy nearly black with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, with notes of malt and nuts and some hoppy touches. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to sweetish notes of malt and caramel, replaced in turn by bitter notes of hops and metal. Touches of yeast. Roasty and estery aftertaste. High carbonation. Drinkable but nothing really special, not even for the style.

Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with hints of caramel, counterbalanced by roasty and hoppy notes. Estery and roasty aftertaste. Well-balancd and okay for the style. Available only at the brewpub.

Zwart bier met schuim van het vat. Smaak is licht bitter en rokerig, niet zoet en niet intems. Gedronken in Alex cafe Waterfront Bremen.
