500ml bottle bought at Systembolaget, Kiruna. Copper-brown body topped by a decent off-white head with lots of small dimples. Toasty malts and hints of floral hops to the nose. Malty character in flavour with caramel added by a touch of dried apricot. Smooth bitter ending. Medium bodied. So and so (Tromsø, 03.02.2010).

(Bottled one as Founders English Ale) Poured amber and clear with medium sized, white and dense head. Aroma contained malts and strawberry. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, hint of roastedness, bitterness and acridity. Acrid aftertaste. Quite bad one.

500 ml bottle, as Ushers Founders English Ale, bought at Systembolaget. ABV is 4.7%. Amber to copper colour, big to moderate off-white head. Aroma of berries and malts, hints of caramel. The flavour is fruity with notes of malts and toffee, hints of nuts. Surprisingly sweet for a bitter. There is a noticeable hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy deep orange with a small off-white and creamy head. Spiced hoppy aroma, classic UK bitterhops aroma. Bitter flavoured with a light fruity note and more of that same spiced hoppy flavour. Ends medium dry and spiced. Not my style of UK hops.
