This big DIPA is brewed with the addition of Rye which gives the malt bill a certain spiciness. Standing opposite the rye is a mountain of Centennial, the classic American citrus hop, which we use in the kettle, whirlpool, and in two dry hop additions. We also used CryoPop, a new product from Yakima Chief, that blends various Cryo Hops.

The result is a huge IPA, which combines the spicy malt flavours of Rye, with the orange and grapefruit flavours of Centennial, all lifted by the tropical fruit flavours of Cryo-Pop hops.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, some herbal and mild grassy tones with mild earth. Flavour is fruity, floral, some tropical fruits and mild herbal tones. Sweet and somewhat grainy.

[ As Hope Beer Limited Edition No. 28 Double Rye IPA ].
ABV: 8.5%. ✅ Cloudy medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, rye, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, rye, fruity hops, sweet hops, citrus, hops bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221229]

--Canned. -- Hazy amber, small head. Dank grapefruit aroma. Sweet with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Dank grapefruit, soft peppery bread, some pine. Long bitter finish. Packed with hops and malt.

Orange amber with a medium head. Aroma of chalky hop. Flavour is dry bitter grapefruit , sticky fruit, tropical fruit bitter finish.
