Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean and pleasantly hoppy. Simcoe and Centennial hops contribute to its great citrus flavor and the creative use of four hops keeps this beer easy drinking and moderately bitter.

From a 355ml bottle on 5/5/2015. Pours a slightly opaque deep golden with a small head. Has a lovely hoppy aroma, featuring stone fruit, tropical fruit and grapefruit, with some floral notes in there as well. Take a sip and thereโ€™s some light biscuity malt, followed by lots of sweet peach and apricot, with a big, satisfying, grapefruity hops providing the balance. Full bodied with average carbonation. A very harmonious, enjoyable IPA.

An IPA thatโ€™s a bit on the lighter side, in color, body and happiness. Resinous hop aroma and taste, a bit of metallic taste at the finish. Some light citrus notes also. Not bad, but surprised to see it 96.

Pale amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, grass, pepper. Clean and sweet with mandarins, grapefruit, a little pepper. Moderate to high bitterness, dries out a little. Some pine at the end. Pleasant enough but rather anonymous.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pineapple, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of citrus rind/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel/rind, pine, light caramel, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and moderate malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Good complexity and balance of bright hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Fairly uneventful triple. The India pale lager by green flash I just had was far superior. Some citrus and light astringency. Pours orange with OK head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Lots of malt. Bottle from grape and gourmet.

Whole orange and lemon zest aroma, subtle grass and caramel. Hazy amber, thin head. Unmalted barley swiftly replaced with orange peel. Finishes with a more pronounced maltiness. Medium body. Milquetoast for an IPA, but good.
