Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean and pleasantly hoppy. Simcoe and Centennial hops contribute to its great citrus flavor and the creative use of four hops keeps this beer easy drinking and moderately bitter.

Bottle. Hazy golden/amber body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of orange and sweet pineapple. Flavour of dusty orange and caramel. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Soft fizz. The hops aren’t quite singing in this, but it’s still pretty nice.

West Coast IPA with thick, egg-white, lightly lacing, dense head, laying stable over a warm orange golden, clear beer. Lovely and fragrant IPA bouquet of orange flesh, tangerine, limoncello, mango, melting butter, juniper berries and pine resin, some sweet onion, biscuit, sweet white wine, vanilla-like tropical flowers, weak hint of chicken broth. Clean, crisp onset of well-positioned tropical fruit sweetness (mango, papaja, orange) already surrounded by a spicy hop bitterness from the start. Carbo is soft, mouthfeel lean and supple with an oily touch. Smooth, somewhat thin pale and caramelly malt sweetishness underlies, supporting the hop bitterness which grows from beginning to end and finishes the palate with deep bittering power, drying the throat but leaving through just enough of the malt sweetness, and, more than anything, with a wonderful retronasal hop fragrance, citrusy, piney, floral and spicy. Not very distinctive as such, but technically very well executed and very appetizing, an ideal apéritif.

355ml bottle. Hop-milky, orangey, deep golden to amber colour with small to average, fluffy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma pervades space in a very sluggish mode, caramel malty background, a sugary touch of candied orange zest. Taste is bitter and citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of lemon, a minimally chalky touch, caramel malty background with almond touch; lasting, biting bitterness.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a fresh big citrus hop bitter, light spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bouteille 355ml.
