Trestles IPA is light bodied, clean and pleasantly hoppy. Simcoe and Centennial hops contribute to its great citrus flavor and the creative use of four hops keeps this beer easy drinking and moderately bitter.

Bottle pour into pilsner glass. Aroma is resiny, citrusy, tropical fruit hops. Appearance is hazy light brown with decent sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with fair retention and leggy lacing. Taste is mix of tropical fruit, orange, lemon and resinous hops, with bitter winning out. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a good representative of a West Coast IPA but not truly distinctive. As such, mildly too bitter.

Can from Kris Wines, Holloway, London 19/8/2016. Drunk from the can en route to Clapton Craft (classy!). Lovely citrus hop and tropical fruit aroma. Moderate sweetness, heavy hoppy bitterness. Light to medium bodied, light creamy texture. Hoppy and light caramel finish. Enjoyed this.

355ml bottle into shaker. Cloudy golden beer with solid white head. laces well. Active tiny bubbles visible. Mild aroma of paper and malt. Light body, minimal fizz. Early sweet taste. Finishes with cashew nutty sweetness and alcohol notes. There’s a very late aspirin bitterness. Hoppy, West Coast USA, serious drinking.

Can from The Bottle Shop Canterbury and drunk at home. Clear amber colour lasting cream head. Some sweetish toffee crystal malt aroma. Yes some hop, some bitterness, but it has that horrible crystal malt aroma and flavour. The hops are just bitter rather than fruity. Black pepper bitterness. Fresh enough, but not that good.

22oz bottle shared with my wife on 9th May 2016 while on holiday in California, poured into Corsendonk badged stemmed tulip glasses. Lovely clear golden body with a full snow white foam blanket on top which gave some impressive lacing on the glasses. Full on hop aroma and taste, citrus bite to the flavour and nose from I assume the dry hopping. Liked it.

Orange color with a white head, medium lasting, nice lacing. Aroma is hoppy, notes of pine and resins, some fruitness, mainly orange and grapefruit. Flavor is fresh, mild maltiness with a decent bitterness, fruitness as well. Bittery final with good duration. Very drinkable.

Can from Bison Beers, Brighton. It pours clear gold with decent white head. The nose is soft, sweet, juicy, melon, peach, nectarine and marmalade. The taste is crisp, pretty bitter, grapefruit, pithy citrus, melon, light alcohol, grassy, straw and biscuit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Decent.

Golden colour with a light haze. Typical ’west coast’ aroma with a certain caramel malty sweetness. The sweetness of nectarines and honey is balanced by resinous and slightly piney hop.

12 fl.oz bottle. Pours almost clear orange yellow colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of fruity bitter hops, melons, peaches. Taste of intense bitter hops, toasted malt, tropical fruits, good!

Bottled.Ambery copper colour with a big fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, nectary and sweet caramel and toffee malty notes. Flavour is similar, along with a nice grassy and herbal take to it. Fresh and quite easy to drink.
