This rich yellow cellar beer is not filtered according to old Bavarian tradition. This means that natural yeast and hops are retained, which creates a pleasantly flattering, bitter taste. A beer with character.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty-yeasty, modest sourish. Some mild-fruity hints. Finish a bit woody-moldy, but still okay. Not bad!

(33cl bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Dusty, slightly sweet malty and yeasty aroma with peppery spicy phenols and hops. Light-sweet, minimal bitter flavour, light t medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Soft malty, moderately yeasty taste with notes of hay and herbal hops; almost dry, malty and yeasty finish with a moderate hoppy bitterness. Quite pleasant, but not a star.

Bottle. Strong whiff of bittering hops on pouring, grainy malt underlying that. Cloudy yellow, lacing white head. Chewy malt base, light fruit, good hop balance. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, sparkly in the back of the mouth. Partyinterpretation of a Keller, but still decent.
