Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Blonde, hazy. Soft peararoma. Yeasty flavor with tangerine and sharp apple wine flavors. Short aftertaste. Thirst quenching, but no more than decent.

* Old rating. Best before 14.12.10. Mild-würziges, fruchtig-mildes Weizen. Lecker. Mild, nicht zu süßlich.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig, leicht bananig, etwas würzig.

500ml bottle. Hazy, yellowish pale golden colour with average, frothy, white head. Fruity, wheaty and mildly yeasty aroma, notes of banana and lemon, a touch of clove. Taste is minimally sweat wheaty, minimally tart juicy, notes of lemon, a touch of yeast. Very refreshing, tangy Hefeweizen.

Bottle. Sweet banana, peach, clove, and straw/wheat malt - excellent. Hazy pale yellow color with moderate head. Sweet banana/orange, moderately bitter clove, and strong wheat malt. Nice blending - not too sweet and clove strong without being overwhelming. Excellent.

(bottle) Cloudy, yellow colour with a big foamy white head. Dusty, light sweet and moderately wheaty nose with quite strong clovy notes and a rather restrained fruity touch. Light-sweet flavour with slightly bitter and tart accents, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Yeasty and moderately wheat-malty taste with faint citrus fruity notes; slightly sweet and a bit tart yeasty finish with a light fruity touch and clovy spice. Not an overly convincing Weizen (07.03.08).

This weizen from Allgäu in the south of Germany pours a hazy golden and a bit orange colour. The head is big and fluffy but disappears quickly. It has a little fruity aroma, with hints of citrus and wheat. The flavor is smooth, little fruity and hints from citrus and yeast. The aftertaste of this beer is a bit weaker than i have had in other weizen.
