33cl bottle pours with a nice clear amber to copper body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up lots of dark fruity ester notes like prunes, cherries and raisins with a mild kind of berry fruity hoppiness well off in the background. The taste starts with a load of prunes and cherry like fruity esters and then it picks up a bit of a brown sugar note to midway. It gets into a sense of raspberry and blackberry with a floral hop cloud hovering overhead. Pretty nice sipper and it improves as it warms.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish-copper coloured. Huge head. Starts intense hoppy and dry, bitter background. Notes of grapefruit. Also a bit metallically, hints of caramel. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable for its strength. Nice!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Sweet fruity and caramellish nose. Rich body, heavy on the crystal malts, pleasantly fruity but not quite enough hops to balance the massive sweetness. 260713

Coppery, good carbonation. Fruit and citrus flavors from the hops, but more malt than anything.

Bottle: Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, small foamy layer, moderately fruity-malty nose with herbal hops and a tinge of alcohol in the background; medium bodied, moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour; drier and hoppier in the cough-syrupy finish. Quite good, but not really great...
