25cl Bottle, birthday gift (I asked for whisky & beer, this was the result..). Smoked eh... Not really.. Clear amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, honey, some alcohol, sweet fruits, light whisky-like notes. Flavour is sweet, whisky is more pronounced here, fruity, caramel, light bitterness, but mostly sweet and sugary. Light bodied. This is just a sweeter version of a Belgian amber.

Bottle, merci Monsieur Stephane ! Clear, copper coloured, no head to speak of; shy sweetish-roast-malty nose with a fruity background; sweet and sticky taste; cola-like finish with some shy traces of peat and smoke. Gulp - no pleasure at all.........

[25cl bottle] Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly dusty, sweet cara-malty aroma with a tinge of toffee and a delicate peaty touch. Sweet and a bit sugary flavour, cara-malty taste with faint peat-smoky notes, medium bodied with a soft carbonation, sweet malty and quite plain finish. Too sweet for my liking [20.XII.08].
