Golden Bock

Glissade is a remarkably mellow take on the traditional spring bock. With restrained sweetness, we emphasize subtle malt flavor balanced against delicate aromas of spicy and floral European hops. This complex balance helps Glissade slide across the palate, bracing us against the last cold nights of winter, while its bright golden color turns our thoughts toward spring.

(bottle, 35cl, vintage 2011) Clear, pale golden colour with blond medium-sized foamy head. Bready (cara-)malt character with spicy and slightly citrus-fruity hops. Initially mildly sweet but most of all bitter flavour, medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Bready malty taste drying out towards the bitter hoppy finish with spicy and slightly flowery accents. Aromatic and easy-going spring Bock. 08.VII.11

On draft @ Sunset Grill and Tap. Clear golden color with a some amount of white head. Aromas of grassy hops with some bready malt. Bit of a sweet malt flavor with a smooth hop (maybe Golding) and somewhat of a toasted flavor. Not bad. Easy drinker, A nice afternoon lunch beer.

Bottle: Poured a light golden color ale with a medium foamy head with OK retention. Aroma consists of semi-sweet malt base with not much else. Taste is nice enough malt centric ale with nice semi-sweet malt notes with limited complexity. Body is about average with good carbonation. A bit disappointing with limited complexity but good drinkability factor

355ml bottle. Golden/orange with gentle bubbles and a thin head which mostly disappears. The nose has pale malt, maybe muesli. The taste notes of cream and pale malt. The palate has medium structure, a creamy texture and quite a clean finish. Overall, nice beer! .

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Golden color; creamy head. Despite the tag Ale on the keg, it has a nice soft Lager perfume, with some malt aroma and very light fruity touch. The mouthfeel is quite smooth, but Boddington shouldn’t be a target: it lacks of malt flavor and body; the bitterness is quite strong. Unassertive.

bottle - Pours golden and smells of light malts and fruity notes with a touch of florals. The taste is sweet malt with mild hops bitterness. It’s refreshing and very easy to drink.
