Prolog: This was the first beer I have ever had in public due to a missunderstood between my parents and the waitress at lunch in the former station building in Königssee. 42 years ago and I was not really at the age of legal drinking beer. But I had a relaxed afternoon ... Re-rate 2017: 0,5 l bottle from the online shop of the brewery. A darkest red brown in the glass with a huge frothy long lasting pale beige head. Low malty on the nose. Taste starts mid malty, some sweetness, hints of citrus in the background. Relative smooth and easy to drink. Not bad.

Eher laff malziger Antrunk, etwas verbrannt röstig. Süßlich, später deutlich milder, insgesamt aber stimmiger. Mild herb, monoton. 9/8/7/7//7

Where: Tasting at Björn.
Appearance: Light brown colour with a small beige head.
Aroma: Caramel, malt.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Caramel, some bread, mild.

Bottled. Clear nut brown, small head. Caramelly nose. Sweetish with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Bread, caramel and grass. Low-medium bitterness.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkronne. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig. Geschmack röstmalzig, schokoladig, minimal würzig.

500ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, brown colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Malty aroma has hints of rock sugar, liquorice and dark bread, a spicy touch of hay, hints of grassy hop. Taste is minimally to moderately sweet dark malty, hints of rock sugar, also minimally dry toasty dark malty. Not bad.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.[ Trade by madsenbryg ]. Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, hay, straw, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, bread, nutty, thin, light metalic. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130418]

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dark, nice head. Starts mild, mild malty, modest roasty. Modest sweet background. Finish milder, almost too mild. So a bit boring. But quite drinkable. Okay.

Draught. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter slightly caramellic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. nice dunkel.
