(bottle) Clear, deep brown colour with a medium-sized tanned foamy head. Slightly toasted malty aroma with doughy notes, caramel and traces of cacao. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Toasty malt-character with caramel, shy hints of molasses and cacao; sweet and delicately bitter finish with a tinge of metal. Rather average Dunkel. 31.I.13

Nice dark roast grain flavor, with a mild malt aroma. A thin beige head covers this dark brown beer. Palate is a little weak, both in mouthfeel and aftertaste.

Bottle: Mid-sized, stable off-white head, chestnut-amber coloured, a bit unclear, moderate toasty, caramelly and nutty nose with a tinge of milk-coffee; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, really soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish with nutty and caramelly-bitter flavours. Absolutely a nice one…
