Swing top bottle from Shrubber85, thanks! Brown color, hazy. Toffee and butter in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty caramelly sweetish flavor with an uncoming sourness. Melon. Hint of butter.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Light breadish and caramelish. Roasted, toffee and breadish. Bitter and roasted finish.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Nice malt, not much roast or bitterness. Quite fresh, not too deep. Nice mild and easy to drink Dunkel without too much deepness.

Leicht trübes dunkel kupferbraunes Bier mit geringer beiger Schaumkrone. Geruch schokoladig, Karamell, Vanille. Geschmack schokoladig, viel Karamell, röstmalzig, Vanillle, super!

swing top bottle 330ml. -Brownish/amber or cola coloured, small off-white head, again light acidic nose with fine coffee notes. Slight roasted malt, caramel and fruits with notes of moldy cheese and spices. So far the best of three Beierhaascht beers I’ve tried (Hell, Ambree, Donkel) but something was wrong here for sure. All three beers had BBE till 2015.

Appearance: Clear nutty brown color with a small bubbly tan head.
Aroma: Caramel malty and light fruity and hoppy.
Palate: Medium to thin body. Moderate sweet, light sour and a low bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malt and light fruity. Also a bit sour.
Overall impression: A bit disappointing beer. Low hop profile.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with Grima.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale brown amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity grainy caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with weak sour acidic hints. Has a fruity malty caramel finish with sour hints.

Malzmuffiger Geruch. Minimal säuerlicher Malzantrunk, die Malzigkeit wird dabei stärker, bleibt aber insgesamt auf mildem Niveau. Kräuterartig im Mittelteil, plötzlich sehr trocken. Zum Ende noch einmal malziger, etwas hopfig. Das Bier scheint auf Süffigkeit ausgelegt. Nett! Danke an Grima! 7/8/7/8/8/8
